Hubert J. W. de Leeuw  Founding Partner

Hubert J.W. de Leeuw was born in 1961 in the Netherlands and residing in Antwerp, Belgium since 1981. He comes from an entrepreneurial family. The family motto is; “Vir Audax Vir Beautus Est”, which means, “A daring man is a happy man.” After expanding the family business abroad as an independent consultant, he looked to other horizons and left the family business in order to begin his own, as family tradition requires.

In 1992 he discovered the Capital District of New York. Now he has established himself as part of the Capital Districts business community and has founded the DSG Group. He believes strongly in the potential of the Capital District and its future as one of the best places for entrepreneurs and companies to start or establish themselves.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in reorganizing companies and setting up and managing projects. Hubert has gained substantial international experience in all areas of business, which include finance, administration, logistics and, in particular, marketing.

Hubert is known as an experienced, talented “new business” entrepreneurial consultant with expertise in a variety of fields. Together with intuitive and visionary abilities, his strength lies in pioneering, exploring and developing new markets, extending boundaries and looking for new horizons.

Thomas R. Sinopoli  Founding Partner

Thomas R. Sinopoli specializes in developing and implementing new marketing strategies, affirming target markets, clarifying product lines, evaluating distribution channels, reviewing pricing strategies and designing and implementing promotional plans. He has extensive experience with both start-up companies and established organizations.

Previously he was a Managing Director of the Schwartz Heslin Group, a management and financial consulting group. Mr. Sinopoli was VP Marketing for Enable Software and handled international and domestic marketing activities. He also served as President of the Computer Systems Division of BitWise Designs, Inc. Tom was the founder of Boston CADD Systems, a pioneering company in the Computer Aided Drafting and Design market in the early 1980’s. He has introduced new products and sold products for such companies as IBM, Savin, and Dennison Manufacturing.

He has taught courses in marketing, management and advertising at Boston University and a graduate course in entrepreneurship at The University at Albany and Union College. Mr. Sinopoli served as a Captain in the US Marine Corps and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Industrial Management from Adelphi University.
